Watch this space because I am going to be sounding off about what is happening in three completely different areas. Motorsports, Music and... what the heck, maybe even Real Estate.
1) Motorsports, or more accurately, the business of motorsports is where I have been for 20+ years. So, I know the players, and the game. I'll be talking about what (I think) is really going on. And if you want some backroom insights on something, drop me a note at jim@jimbowie.ca and I'll try to get you the scoop.
2) Music is a very important element in my survival. I am still stuck in the 70s and 80s, but not for a lack of trying. I think that live concert DVDs and Blu-Rays are the perfect application for high-def TV and surround systems, and as such, my collection of live shows numbers over 300. Maybe here on Bowie Blogs, I'll do a concert review from my collection once in a while. I'll also talk about gear too. I own five or six guitars and sound equally crap on all of them. But I do appreciate the guitar so we'll talk about guitars, amplification and other gadgets here as well.
3) Real Estate happenings are well documented. I won't be cutting and pasting propaganda from someone else's blog. But, I'll be interpreting how physical, geographic and economic shifts affect real estate, in and around Toronto. Boring!?!? Maybe... but I'll set my DVR to record Craig Ferguson and steal some of his comedic material in an attempt to spice it up.
